Texas Sues To Get Google Docs In Antitrust Probe

Law360, New York (June 21, 2012, 5:59 PM ET) -- Texas' attorney general sued Google Inc. on Monday seeking thousands of documents the search engine giant has allegedly withheld in the AG’s investigation of its purportedly anti-competitive tactics to upend potential Internet search rivals.

In a suit filed in Texas state court, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott claims Google hasn't adequately supported its claim that the roughly 14,500 documents it hasn't submitted are confidential, and that it has the burden to show attorney-client privilege applies to those documents as well that those it is now seeking...
