Law360, New York (August 10, 2012, 2:01 PM ET) -- Medical device maker Smith & Nephew Inc. on Wednesday sued a pair of rivals in Texas federal court for $1 million apiece on allegations they poached sales representatives, the company’s latest high-profile legal fights involving noncompete clauses.
The lawsuits target Tulsa-based Exact Surgical Inc., a distributor for Exactech Inc., and Austin-based Central Texas Orthopedic Products Inc., a distributor for Biomet Inc.
