Law360, New York (August 29, 2012, 8:41 PM ET) -- Kraft Foods North America Inc. and others were hit Wednesday with a lawsuit filed by the widow of a Texas man who allegedly developed lung cancer from asbestos exposure related to his work as a pipe fitter at Kraft's predecessor Nabisco Inc.
In a complaint filed in Texas state court, Hildegard Linehan said her husband, Elmer Linehan, was exposed to asbestos-containing materials that allegedly were negligently supplied to him by Nabisco, without proper warnings to wear respirators or other safety precautions when handling such products....
