Law360, Houston (September 10, 2012, 3:29 PM ET) -- A homeowners' association management company filed suit Friday in Texas state court alleging its former law firm Butler Hailey Attorneys at Law attempted to help overthrow the group's board and stole files from the management company.
Independent Management and Investment LLC, the management company for the Leawood Homeowners' Association, claims that after Butler Hailey terminated its relationship with the HOA, it helped a group of residents in an unsuccessful bid to unseat the board and seized hundreds of sensitive records.
