Law360, New York (May 12, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A former employee at steel company Nucor Corp. is trying to fuse the unpaid overtime claims of all welders who worked for Nucor in Grapeland, Texas, during the past three years into a collective action.
Nucor's Vulcraft subsidiary in Grapeland doesn't pay its employees the federally mandated premium rate for overtime hours, according to the putative collective action filed Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
