5th Circ. Upholds Ruling Against Texas Doctors Group

Law360, New York (May 19, 2008, 12:00 AM ET) -- A physicians group based in Fort Worth, Texas, illegally fixed prices in its negotiations with insurance companies, health plans and other payers, a federal appeals court panel has affirmed.

In a decision reached Wednesday, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit for the most part upheld a ruling by the Federal Trade Commission.
