Law360, New York (April 08, 2010, 6:02 PM ET) -- Accused Ponzi schemer Robert Allen Standford has made yet another change to his criminal defense team following his decision to swap out the lawyers who will be primarily handling the litigation, bringing on board Harvard law professor Alan Dershowitz as a constitutional law consultant.
Dershowitz, a renowned criminal defense expert, confirmed in an e-mail Thursday that he had been hired in the Stanford case to consult on “constitutional law issues relating to pretrial preventative detention, speedy trial, double jeopardy and the right to prepare a defense.”...
