Law360, New York (December 02, 2010, 8:12 PM ET) -- The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission said Thursday that it would postpone setting up five new offices required under the new financial reform law because of growing budget uncertainty, including an office that would take over the tasks of fielding whistleblower complaints.
The SEC said it would defer the creation of five offices ordered in the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act and that it would have more information on the implementation dates for those offices once Congress finalized a fiscal year 2011 budget....
