NY Lawmakers, Hospital CEOs Get More Bribery Charges

Law360, New York (April 07, 2011, 10:16 PM ET) -- MediSys Health Network's ex-CEO, two New York state lawmakers and others who were accused in March of operating a bribery ring were hit with new federal charges Thursday in a beefed-up 11-count indictment.

State Sen. Carl Kruger, Assemblyman William Boyland Jr. and six others were charged anew with bribery, money laundering, mail fraud and wire fraud in a superseding indictment filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York.
