Law360, New York (May 10, 2011, 6:08 PM ET) -- Former MLB star Lenny Dykstra, who was indicted Friday on bankruptcy fraud charges for allegedly selling items from his $18 million mansion, asked a California federal court Monday to shave $45,000 off of his $150,000 bond.
Dykstra, a 48-year-old former center fielder for the Philadelphia Phillies and New York Mets, has already posted a $75,000 bond and has access to a second $30,000 bond, but he "has had difficulty obtaining" the rest of the cash, his attorney said in a court filing.
