Top Ala. Gambling Prosecutor Heads For MoloLamken

Law360, New York (January 19, 2012, 8:24 PM ET) -- The top prosecutor in the sprawling gambling legislation corruption case in Alabama received court approval Thursday to withdraw from the case so he can join Washington-based MoloLamken LLP as a partner.

Justin V. Shur, former deputy chief for Public Integrity Section of the DOJ's criminal division, filed his motion to withdraw from the case against casino operator Milton E. McGregor and state legislative bigwigs in Alabama federal court on Tuesday. U.S. Judge Myron H. Thompson approved the motion Thursday.
