Law360, New York (February 23, 2012, 5:01 PM ET) -- Prominent Los Angeles attorney Pierce O'Donnell, who pled guilty last fall to funneling illegal campaign contributions to former Sen. John Edwards, joined prosecutors Wednesday in asking a federal judge to sentence him to 60 days in prison.
O'Donnell and prosecutors first reached a plea agreement in August, but U.S. District Judge S. James Otero upended the deal three months later when he refused to sentence the attorney to the requested six-month prison term.
