2 More Sentenced In Sweeping NJ Corruption Probe

Law360, New York (May 01, 2012, 3:58 PM ET) -- A federal judge Tuesday sentenced two more individuals snared in a massive political corruption sting in New Jersey, including a former Jersey City Housing Department employee who now faces six months in prison for evading taxes on payments he took to expedite development approvals.

U.S. District Judge Jose L. Linares handed down the six-month term for John Guarini and also sentenced businessman Ronald Manzo to three years probation for conspiring to provide former Secaucus, N.J., Mayor Dennis Elwell with a $10,000 bribe, according to prosecutors....
