Law360, New York (May 11, 2012, 8:07 PM ET) -- A grand jury has indicted an attorney and three others it says were involved in a kickback scheme in connection with an Indian tribe’s construction projects at a casino in Coachella, Calif., the U.S. Department of Justice said Thursday.
Gary E. Kovall of Ely, Minn., his wife Peggy A. Shambaugh and two others were hit with charges of conspiracy, bribery and money laundering, according to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California.
