Law360, New York (June 07, 2012, 7:47 PM ET) -- After receiving whistleblower allegations of bribery at their Kazakhstan operations, several oil giants including Chevron Corp. and Eni SpA promptly launched investigations into the anonymous claims, a once-unlikely reaction that suggests companies have learned the perils of sleeping on potential Foreign Corrupt Practices Act violations, experts say.
