Law360, New York (June 26, 2012, 9:03 PM ET) -- The head of a California expert networking firm pled guilty in New York federal court Tuesday to passing trading secrets about biotechnology company Abaxis Inc. to two hedge fund clients, marking the latest coup for prosecutors in their campaign against insider trading.
Tai Nguyen, 49, the president and sole employee of Insight Research LLC in San Francisco, appeared in Manhattan court and copped to one count of participating in a conspiracy to commit wire fraud and securities fraud.
