Law360, New York (July 10, 2012, 7:21 PM ET) -- A federal judge on Monday sentenced a Philadelphia personal injury lawyer to 42 months in prison for his role in an alleged scheme to defraud a New York venture capital fund that financed his law firm.
A federal jury convicted Mikel Jones in November 2011 of using borrowed funds to pay for a range of personal expenses, including basketball tickets and credit card debt.
