Law360, New York (August 16, 2012, 6:46 PM ET) -- U.S. authorities seeking to extradite Megaupload.com founder Kim Dotcom from New Zealand for alleged Internet piracy must first disclose the evidence they have against him to assure a fair hearing, New Zealand's high court ruled on Thursday.
Auckland High Court Judge Helen Winkelmann said a lower court did not err in requiring the disclosures before Dotcom's March 2013 extradition hearing, ruling that the parties must be aware of all evidence in the case to assure a fair hearing.
