Law360, Wilmington (August 17, 2012, 2:36 PM ET) -- An Indiana pension fund has sued to force Wal-Mart Stores Inc. to turn over internal documents concerning bribery allegations against the retailer's Mexican unit, according a complaint unsealed Thursday.
Indiana Electrical Workers Pension Trust Fund IBEW, a Wal-Mart shareholder, says in the Delaware Chancery Court suit that it wants the documents in order to bolster its derivative claims that the retailer’s directors failed in their oversight responsibilities and engaged in a cover-up of the alleged bribery scheme at Wal-Mart de Mexico.
