Ex-FEMA Worker Avoids Jail In $100M Katrina Contract Scam

Law360, New York (September 07, 2012, 12:24 PM ET) -- A former Federal Emergency Management Agency employee was sentenced Wednesday to one year of probation but avoided prison time for helping a disaster services company fraudulently win a $100 million contract to maintain government-issued mobile homes after Hurricane Katrina.
