Law360, New York (November 01, 2012, 1:51 PM ET) -- Convicted fraudster and former National Lampoon Inc. CEO Timothy Durham objected Wednesday to prosecutors' allegations that his actions caused $200 million in losses, a figure he said "substantially overstates the seriousness of the defendant’s offense."
Durham — convicted by an Indiana federal jury in June of defrauding 5,000 investors and misleading them about financial services companies he ran in a four-year scam — said the government hadn't shown that more than $200 million in losses were directly attributable to the allegations in the indictment.
