Mayer Brown Atty Out After 10 Days Amid Allegations At MoFo

Mayer Brown LLP confirmed on Wednesday that it has parted ways with a New York-based capital markets partner — 10 days after announcing it had hired him — following allegations that the partner engaged in “inappropriate conduct” at his previous firm.

James R. Tanenbaum joined Mayer Brown’s corporate and securities practice in February, after nearly 15 years at Morrison & Foerster LLP’s New York office, where the improper conduct is alleged to have occurred.
