J&J, Bayer Hit With $28M Verdict In 1st Xarelto Loss

A Philadelphia jury delivered a first-of-its-kind verdict on Tuesday as it awarded almost $28 millionĀ in damages against a pair of Johnson & Johnson and Bayer AG units after finding the companies had provided inadequate warnings about the risks of bleeding associated with the blood thinner Xarelto.
