A California federal judge on Friday preliminarily approved a $2 million settlement between Marriott International Inc. and 1,500 workers in three Ritz-Carlton hotels who say they were stiffed overtime pay. (A previously published version of this story incorrectly stated that the judge delayed approving the settlement. The error has been corrected.)
