						SkyWest Airlines' flight attendants urged an Illinois federal court to dismiss the remainder of their suit accusing the airline of not paying them overtime and other wage violations, saying it would be the best way to end their almost 10-year-long case.

						An Illinois federal judge declined Monday to further trim claims that SkyWest Airlines underpaid its stable of flight attendants for work performed on the ground, ruling that the airline hadn't established that workers were bound by collective bargaining agreements and thus exempt from overtime rules.

						An Illinois federal judge has trimmed proposed class claims from SkyWest Inc. flight attendants seeking unpaid wages for work they did while on the ground, saying Chicago-based workers didn't have enough facts backing their claims, but workers based in other states had sufficiently fleshed out claims and could forge ahead.
