The Council on Compulsive Gambling of New Jersey Inc. has settled a race discrimination lawsuit by its former executive director, according to a notice that the case will be administratively terminated in 60 days.

A New Jersey organization that helps gamblers overcome their addiction argued a former employee cannot show that its refusal to renew her contract was motivated by race, and said jokes made about race do not rise to the level of a hostile work environment.
