The Second Circuit said Friday it won't let over two dozen former IBM employees disturb arbitrators' determinations that they had filed age bias claims too late, ruling that a trial judge correctly concluded that the filing deadline was valid.
Former IBM workers urged the Second Circuit on Thursday to strike down arbitration agreements that blocked their age bias suits, arguing the pacts were invalid because they undermined the ex-workers' rights under federal age bias law.
