A Nashville event venue told a Tennessee federal court Friday it agreed to pay $75,000 to a collective of 28 workers, asking the court to give the deal preliminary approval in order to end the suit claiming unpaid tips.

A Nashville event venue deprived workers of tips they earned, requiring them to share tips with nontipped employees and perform large amounts of nontipped work, a former bartender alleged in a proposed collective action in Tennessee federal court.
