TCL Communication Technology Holdings Ltd. asked a California district court Thursday to impose sanctions against its rival Ericsson Inc. for destroying documents it says are relevant to it its lawsuit accusing the Swedish telecommunications company of demanding unreasonably high, discriminatory licensing fees for its standard-essential patents.
