Judge OKs Marine Equipment Price-Fixing Class Settlements
A California federal judge on Monday gave final approval to class action settlements in companion lawsuits over an alleged price-fixing scheme for marine equipment, winding down litigation that has yielded more than $5 million in payouts to purchasers of buoys, marine pilings and other equipment used to protect boats during docking.

A group of marine equipment sellers accused of fixing prices in breach of antitrust laws settled two class actions in California for a total of $5 million on Tuesday, three years after industry executives were jailed on criminal charges.
