SanDisk Didn't Infringe NPE's Chip Patents, Judge Says
A California federal judge on Friday found that flash memory maker SanDisk Corp. did not infringe two patents bought by nonpracticing entity Round Rock Research LLC because SanDisk bought the contested memory chips from a Toshiba Corp. subsidiary that was licensed to import them.

Micron Ordered To Hand Patent Docs To SanDisk
A California federal judge on Monday ordered Micron Technologies Inc. to fork over market research data to rival flash memory maker SanDisk Inc., which SanDisk will use to defend itself in a lawsuit alleging it infringed several patents that Round Rock Research LLC purchased from Micron in 2009.
