SanDisk Didn't Infringe NPE's Chip Patents, Judge Says
A California federal judge on Friday found that flash memory maker SanDisk Corp. did not infringe two patents bought by nonpracticing entity Round Rock Research LLC because SanDisk bought the contested memory chips from a Toshiba Corp. subsidiary that was licensed to import them.
