Apple, Samsung, Others Sued Over Mobile Data Patent
Texas-based Garnet Digital LLC on Friday sued most of the major players in the smartphone industry, including Apple Inc., Samsung Electronics America Inc. and Research in Motion Corp., for allegedly infringing a patent covering technology to access information from a remote database.
