Accretive Leaves Minn., Pays $2.5M To Settle Billing Suit

Accretive Health Inc. will pay $2.5 million and stop doing business in Minnesota to resolve allegations its medical billing practices violated consumer protection laws, the company said Monday, a significant victory for state Attorney General Lori Swanson even though the company admitted no wrongdoing.
