Denso Can't Trim Auto Parts Price-Fixing MDL
A Michigan federal judge allowed car-buyer plaintiffs in an auto parts price-fixing multidistrict litigation to continue representing class members from states where those representatives never purchased a vehicle, saying Monday the representation will not subject parts maker Denso Corp. to unnecessary discovery.

Auto Parts Manufacturers Can't Ditch Antitrust MDL
Mitsubishi Electric Corp., Mitsuba Corp. and others can't escape allegations by Florida's attorney general, dealerships and buyers that they fixed auto parts prices, a Michigan federal judge ruled Wednesday, saying similar allegations have already survived dismissal bids in the sprawling multidistrict litigation.

TRW To Pay Direct Buyers $8M In Auto Parts Antitrust MDL
A Michigan federal judge Thursday gave tentative approval to an $8 million settlement to resolve a class action brought by direct purchasers of occupant safety systems who accuse TRW Automotive Holdings Corp. of colluding with other auto parts makers to fix the prices of the parts.

Hitachi To Pay $47M To Settle Some Claims In Antitrust MDL
Hitachi Automotive Systems Ltd. will pay $46.7 million to settle allegations in nine Michigan federal suits that it fixed prices on alternators, starters and other auto parts, according to a Thursday filing, making it the latest company to settle claims in the multidistrict litigation.
