Apple E-Book Monitor No Longer Necessary, Judge Says
A New York federal judge on Tuesday decided not extend the term for a court-appointed monitor in the e-book price-fixing suit against Apple Inc., just a day after the U.S. Department of Justice and the tech giant told the court that the monitor was no longer needed since Apple sufficiently implemented his recommendations.
