Alorica Inc., a national call center operator, has agreed to pay $9.25 million to resolve a collective action claiming that it underpaid customer service representatives across the country, according to documents filed on Monday in California federal court.

Call center operator Alorica Inc. on Thursday asked a California federal judge to disqualify two law firms representing former employees in a wage-and-hour collective action, saying one firm had libeled Alorica and the other firm's involvement in a similar suit creates a conflict of interest.
