The Federal Circuit on Thursday refused to rehear its decision that a pricing patent asserted against Amazon.com Inc. is directed only to an abstract idea, brushing aside the patent holder's assertion the court was using the U.S. Supreme Court's Alice ruling as a "buzzsaw."
