DOJ Asks To Finalize Terms Of Nexstar-Media General Deal
The U.S. Department of Justice asked a D.C. federal court Tuesday to enter a final judgment requiring Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc. to sell off seven television stations as a condition of its $4.6 billion acquisition of Media General Corp., a move meant to ease concerns the deal would reduce competition for spot advertising and program licensing.

Nexstar Broadcasting Group Inc. has won approval from the U.S Department of Justice of its $4.6 billion acquisition of Media General Corp. with the sale of seven television stations to ease concerns the deal would reduce competition for spot advertising and program licensing, the DOJ said Friday.
