    Judge OKs $35M H&R Block Settlement But Slashes Attys' Fees

    A California federal judge on Wednesday approved a $35 million settlement between H&R Block Enterprises Inc. and a class of seasonal tax preparers who claimed the company violated California wage laws, but gave the class counsel $7 million less in fees than they had requested.
