    A California federal court properly looked at how U.S. Xpress Enterprises Inc. defined its piece-rate compensation system to decide whether the trucking company shorted drivers on minimum wage by not paying for nondriving tasks, the Ninth Circuit ruled, upholding a decision in the company's favor.
