A Maryland federal judge backtracked on his prior decision to throw out an Americans with Disabilities Act claim by a former Sprint employee with multiple sclerosis, saying he jumped the gun when he nixed her allegation that she was fired because of her disability.

A Maryland federal court ruled that a former Sprint employee with multiple sclerosis could bring before a jury her claims that she'd been fired as punishment for taking medical leave, finding her ex-employer's explanation for letting her go was inconsistent enough to warrant a trial.
