Some Auto Parts Claims Sent To Arbitration In Price-Fix MDL
A Michigan federal judge has tossed a number of antitrust claims against Denso Corp. and a spark-plug maker, saying Tuesday that sales agreements underlying the allegations require disputes to be dealt with in arbitration despite auto parts buyers' attempts to "gerrymander" their complaints to avoid it.

Japan's Aisan Industry Co. Ltd. on Tuesday agreed to pay more than $1.4 million to settle claims in Michigan federal court by a proposed class of automotive dealers accusing the vehicle parts manufacturer of conspiring with others to fix prices for fuel injection systems.
