A&P Parent Seeks Court OK To Close All But 1 Ch. 11 Case
The Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Co. Inc., owner of A&P supermarkets, asked a New York bankruptcy court to close 53 of its 54 Chapter 11 cases Monday, saying few enough claims remain that its bankruptcy should proceed as just one case.
