The New York federal judge overseeing the unwinding of Bernie Madoff's defunct securities firm approved a deal Tuesday in which Minnesota-based former investors will give back $30.2 million in proceeds from Madoff's infamous Ponzi scheme, including some funds awarded to a related nonprofit.
