The Second Circuit on Tuesday said it wouldn't rehear an appeal from an investor who lost a clawback suit and was ordered to pay $16.9 million to the bankruptcy estate of Bernie Madoff's Ponzi investment company.

The Second Circuit on Thursday affirmed a district court decision that the liquidation trustee of Bernie Madoff's company can claw back $16.9 million from a group of the Ponzi schemer's investors, reiterating its approved method of calculating money belonging to customers.
