A Texas bankruptcy judge on Friday approved women's apparel retailer Soft Surroundings' Chapter 11 plan, including a $22.7 million sale of its e-commerce platform and a $400,000 settlement for its unsecured creditors.

Women's apparel retailer Soft Surroundings on Tuesday received a Texas bankruptcy judge's approval to tap $17 million in debtor-in-possession financing that the company will use to fund operations during its Chapter 11 process, which it wants to start wrapping up by early November.
