The U.S. Supreme Court on Monday declined to hear the case of a Chapter 7 trustee who was rebuffed in his efforts to get $10.3 million from LSQ Funding Group LC, a creditor of a bankrupt staffing agency, after the trustee argued that he was not required to show harm to the estate to justify the clawback where fraud was involved.

The Chapter 7 trustee for a temporary staffing agency run as a Ponzi scheme asked the U.S. Supreme Court to take up his $10.3 million fraudulent transfer clawback suit, saying in a filing made public Wednesday the Seventh Circuit erred in finding that the estate must have suffered economic harm in order for the court to unwind the transfer.
