A Texas federal judge on Wednesday pruned off two out of 10 claims in a health care provider's $12 million suit claiming Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas Inc. either denied or paid only 3 percent of reimbursements for medical services that BCBS had allegedly verified it would cover.

A health care provider accused Blue Cross Blue Shield of Texas Inc. of underpaying for out-of-network medical claims by at least $11.5 million in a lawsuit that was removed to Texas federal court on Monday.
