Health Plans Sue Abbott Over Depakote Off-Label Scheme
Abbott Laboratories Inc. was hit with a proposed class action in Illinois federal court Friday by three health benefit plans alleging it unfairly reaped hundreds of millions of dollars from third-party payors through off-label marketing and kickbacks for prescriptions of anti-seizure medication Depakote.
